What is Plaster?
It is applied in two layers, coarse and thin, to smooth the wall surfaces of the building, to obtain a beautiful appearance inside and outside the building, to protect the structure from external and internal influences and to extend its life, but it can also be applied as a single layer when the plaster ground and construction technique allow it. It is a covering material made with a mixture of cement, sand, lime and plaster.
There are principles and issues regarding the application of cement, plaster, lime, cement-lime, lime-gypsum binder plasters (mineral binders) in the thickness required by the rules, with the addition of different mortar additives when necessary, in wall and coating works on the exterior and interior surfaces of the building. In addition, it is necessary to determine the rules and conditions for the construction of plaster applications and the design of a mortar mixture suitable for the intended use of plasters.
